A Weekend in Crested Butte, Part 2 of 2
A Long Trail Run
Our first day in Crested Butte was nice and relaxed as we eased into vacation mode. Our second day was relaxed in a different way: after a small, quick breakfast we headed out to the Lower Loop Trail to go trail running and explore! We ended up logging 10.5 miles. (I also took a thousand photos.) And then, of course, we refueled like professionals. Crested Butte is a foodie’s town!

Happy (late) Tuesday, friends! This past weekend, Nick and I wrapped up the end of another busy week and headed out to Crested Butte, what’s now become Memorial Weekend Tradition.

Oh, Hey
Hi friends! I’ve been MIA this week due to a busy life. Nick’s mom Barbara was in Denver visiting for the weekend, and then Nick and I got back-to-back stomach bugs (that sounds weird). I got sick; he took care of me. Then he got sick; I took care of him. I think we’d both be dead if we’d gotten it at the same time!
Trying to keep up with blogging every day is hard. This week I’ve focused on feeling healthy and being on top of things at work. So, in lieu of an outfits post today, I’ve got a slew of photos from my head shot session with Be Boulder Photography this past Saturday… and some couples shots, too (+ Nick’s mama)! On my second morning waking up in the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, my publisher and I went for a sunrise run down the famous Rodeo Drive.

This year, Nick and I spent 5 days in Florida with the whole family for Christmas. It’s always nice to take a break in the sunshine state, and this trip was no exception. There was a lot of togetherness, early morning runs, and excessive eating.
