On day 2 of our short-and-sweet weekend getaway to Gateway Canyons Resort, the man and I decided to partake in a decadent breakfast and then take a walking tour of the entire property with Harper. We snapped a million photos. Take a look!

Updates + A Boulder Photo Shoot
Oh, Hey
Hi friends! I’ve been MIA this week due to a busy life. Nick’s mom Barbara was in Denver visiting for the weekend, and then Nick and I got back-to-back stomach bugs (that sounds weird). I got sick; he took care of me. Then he got sick; I took care of him. I think we’d both be dead if we’d gotten it at the same time!
Trying to keep up with blogging every day is hard. This week I’ve focused on feeling healthy and being on top of things at work. So, in lieu of an outfits post today, I’ve got a slew of photos from my head shot session with Be Boulder Photography this past Saturday… and some couples shots, too (+ Nick’s mama)! Take a look and enjoy.
Photos taken before the sickness struck. And no, we’re not engaged. 😉 BEWARE: You are going to see a LOT of my face.
The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch: Part 2
SHOPS & A HIKE
On our second day at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, we first indulged in Breakfast in Bed (courtesy of the Club Lounge), and then we embarked on a shopping adventure, followed by a gorgeous guided hike (where we saw a black bear!).

The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch: Part 1
A LUXURY STAY
It’s always a tough day at work when you’re assigned to check out a fancy hotel in the mountains, but someone’s gotta do it.
This time around, Michelle and I were sent to The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch (near Vail and Beaver Creek resorts) for a one-night stay.
Blissful in Crested Butte: Part 3
MILES & MEALS
Well we’re finally moving on to the recap of Day 2 of our long weekend in Crested Butte, Colorado! The first day was jam-packed with fun but in a relaxed, go-with-the-flow sort of way. It was a great start to the trip!
Sunday was a lot like Saturday—but on steroids! We had a longer, hillier trail run, following by multiple progressive meals. (I miss it dearly.)
