Good girl, Harper
We are so in love with this little puppy! Le sigh. I can’t imagine talking about much else here for a while… and I can’t imagine you’re upset about it. 🙂
I’m going to just drop a few pupdates here about her first week with us.

This past Saturday we adopted the love of our lives! She is the sweetest and most adorable pup we’ve ever seen… no bias at all. 😉 (She likes to eat grass, as you can see in the photo above.)
It will be a busy several months ahead, but it’s already proving to be worth it and then some. Here are some photos from the last 36 hours or so, including our experience at Lifelife Puppy Rescue in Brighton, Colorado.
I love short weeks! This one just flew by, and it’s been a great one—great food, running consistently, preparing for Hello, Dolly! and upcoming auditions, reading up on pup training with the man.
I’m continuing the no-clothes-spending trend, so here are my you’ve-seen-these-so-many-times-by-now Outfits post. 😉 I also ditched makeup this week. Ah!
Happy (late) Tuesday, friends! This past weekend, Nick and I wrapped up the end of another busy week and headed out to Crested Butte, what’s now become Memorial Weekend Tradition.
Instead of three recap installments, I’ve pared things down to two, so get ready for photo overload.
Happy Thursday! It’s snow-raining in Denver this morning. It’s May 18. Nothing makes sense. It’s been one of those weeks at work where I’ve got more outings and meetings in 5 days than I usually do in a month, so things have been pretty hustle-and-bustle lately. I wanted to check in with you all and just share a few little things that’ve gone on this week.
Hi friends! I’ve been MIA this week due to a busy life. Nick’s mom Barbara was in Denver visiting for the weekend, and then Nick and I got back-to-back stomach bugs (that sounds weird). I got sick; he took care of me. Then he got sick; I took care of him. I think we’d both be dead if we’d gotten it at the same time!
Trying to keep up with blogging every day is hard. This week I’ve focused on feeling healthy and being on top of things at work. So, in lieu of an outfits post today, I’ve got a slew of photos from my head shot session with Be Boulder Photography this past Saturday… and some couples shots, too (+ Nick’s mama)! Take a look and enjoy.
Photos taken before the sickness struck. And no, we’re not engaged. 😉 BEWARE: You are going to see a LOT of my face.
Lord help me. You guysssss. I can’t shake my puppy needs lately. I know, in due time, I’ll finally have the cuddly, fuzzy, sweet little puppy ears to kiss and snuggle. And I promise I’m being patient and rational. But… I need a little retriever puppy, like yesterday, so in the meantime I’m taking you all down with me!
Behold the cuteness.
(Okay, so the pup we end up adopting doesn’t need to be a particular breed or color, but at the moment, I’m all about goldens or retrievers in general.)
I’ve fallen off the blogging train lately. Whoops! Here are some photos from the past week or two, for your viewing (and reviewing) pleasure.
Spoiler alert: It’s mostly food and running pics.
This weekend was absolutely marvelous! I’m amping up my long runs with the help of the man, and we’re also making sure to squeeze as much festivity out of this month as we can muster! I love December. Christmas, the cozy cold, and I turn 30 soon!
This past weekend I ran my longest distance ever: 13.5 miles! It was a difficult run, but totally worth it. We also got into the Christmas spirit!
