A Look at My Cute Little Work Space

A look at my office

A Work-iversary

This week marks my two-year work anniversary as the digital editor of Colorado Homes & Lifestyles nand Mountain Living magazines! Even before I went to the Denver Publishing Institute, I fantasized about working with this company. Three years after that, I finally made the team.

The time has flown, and working with this group of people has made a great job even more outstanding. Sometimes I get burnt out or I think I need a change, but then I cannot imagine a better job or work environment—unless it involves getting paid a decent salary to eat pizzza on the beach. I’ll still hold out for that one.

A Dreamy Run Down Rodeo Drive

A Gorgeous run down Rodeo Drive from the Beverly Hilton Los Angeles California to Beverly Gardens Park.jpg

Palm Trees, Galore

On my second morning waking up in the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, my publisher and I went for a sunrise run down the famous Rodeo Drive.

The catch? I don’t move in for another 3 months.

So in the meantime, brace yourselves for all the home design posts, as I brainstorm on how to decorate the place

Life Update: I Found A Place to Live!

Washington Park, Denver, Colorado

A WASH PARK WONDERLAND

You guys. I have been trying to find a place in West Wash Park to call my own, and as of this week, I found the perfect spot!

Nestled just a couple blocks from all my favorite things (the man’s place, friends, all the food and coffee shops, and running in Wash Park!), this condo is a dream come true. I’m most excited about decorating it and making it mine.

Here are the BEFORE photos! (AFTER to come in September.)

IKEA and I: Assembling a Life Alone

IKEA & I: ASSEMBLING A LIFE ALONE

STARTING OVER, BY YOURSELF

I might as well be up-front about it: I’m going through a break-up (er… divorce). It’s a struggle for many reasons, as you can either relate to or imagine. But aside from the immense emotional and financial turmoil, it’s the little, every-day adjustments that have caught me most off-guard. And from these small conquests I have learned the largest lessons about embracing this new phase of life. So here they are.
