Good morning, loves! I’m up early on a Saturday morning.

About this time (7:30 am) tomorrow, I’ll be halfway through the Colfax Half Marathon!

I’m feeling a little nervous but mostly excited and ready, especially after eating all the carbs, going to the Race Expo to pick up my bib, and visiting the grocery store for a few more fun pick-me-ups.

PIZZA! PIZZA!

After a tiring week and a 3.4-mile run on Friday that included my fastest mile ever, I was ready to take a bath, relax, and eat some delicious homemade pizza. (Yes, again.)

We made not one but two divinely delicious (and competitive) pizzas, each improvised with various toppings found in the fridge. Each pie was distinctly different from the other, but both were insanely scrumptious. See which won!

EAT ALL THE THINGS ALL DAY

I’m headed into a busy season ahead: full-time work, ramping up my training and long runs for the Colfax Marathon next month, and, starting this week until July, 5 days of Grease rehearsal per week (2 of which are 5-hour choreography sessions).

I’m going to be working like a dog, moving constantly, and in need of delicious and nutritious fuel.
