This week has absolutely flown by, as I’ve been recovering from surgery and both Nick and I have been fending off a sneaky cold, so I’m looking forward to the weekend!
The gist of this week: no running allowed, a great voice lesson, lots of delicious meals, colder weather, and some extra rest. Take a look at outfits + little snippets of things.

It’s dreary, slushy, and snowing on this April Tuesday in Denver, which means I’m over here dreaming about lounging by the pool and road-tripping with the windows down, the warm wind in my hair.
And while I’d repeat every item on last year’s post, 12 Things to Look Forward to This Summer (especially summer hours, al fresco dining, and farmers’ markets—can’t wait!), this time around I’m lusting over these five warm-weather finds to sport this summer.

I’ve become very financially focused these days, and spending moolah on new clothes is not quite on the to-do list. Instead, I’m working really hard to put outfits together that don’t look like the same old thing every week (although I’m aware that sometimes they do).

For the return of my Outfits of the Week series, we have a lot of oldies but goodies… as well as mustard, navy, black, and gray. The week started out feeling like Spring, and ended with snow. That’s Colorado for ya. When Spring is in full swing, I don’t feel like I have much to work with.
