Running, Food & Holiday Cheer

This weekend was a great one, particularly in the food department! The weather in Denver has hit record highs for this time of year… highs have been in the 60s, which means both of my runs this weekend were in shorts and a tank top. What? It’s December!

We also tried to get Harper in the Christmas spirit. Cute photos ahead!

Snapshots from Denver Flea

This past Sunday, Nick and I walked over to the Sports Castle on 1000 Broadway to check out the Denver Holiday Flea.

Denver Flea is “a contemporary marketplace showcasing makers and retailers who cultivate the Colorado lifestyle,” and it is legit awesome. I managed to take a handful of photos amidst the crowd. Check them out!

Yep, that’s me with Adam Pascal!

Last week was a great one, and to be frank, I just wasn’t in the mood to update the blog at all. Sometimes life is too busy or I’m enjoying my downtime too much. But what does that mean now? Tons of pictures, that’s what. Here’s a photo recap of last week, since it was such a fabulous one.

This is going to sound weird and ridiculous, but it’s true. This Monday evening, when Nick and I were walking Harper before I had to head to rehearsal, we saw in our back alley that our dumpster was filled with stacks and stacks of clothes

A Work-iversary

This week marks my two-year work anniversary as the digital editor of Colorado Homes & Lifestyles nand Mountain Living magazines! Even before I went to the Denver Publishing Institute, I fantasized about working with this company. Three years after that, I finally made the team.

Sometimes I get burnt out or I think I need a change, but then I cannot imagine a better job or work environment—unless it involves getting paid a decent salary to eat pizzza on the beach. I’ll still hold out for that one.

Anyway, I wanted to celebrate my sharing glimpses of my office with you!

RUNNING FIRSTS + FESTIVE LIGHTS

This weekend was absolutely marvelous! I’m amping up my long runs with the help of the man, and we’re also making sure to squeeze as much festivity out of this month as we can muster! I love December. Christmas, the cozy cold, and I turn 30 soon!

COPPER & WHITE

As my move-in date approaches, I’m getting way too excited about my very own living space! This will be the first apartment I’ve ever procured and lived in all by myself. Very adulty, indeed.

And with that comes massive dreaming (a la Pinterest). Here are my favorite (p)inspirations as of late… copper, white, wooden, minimal.
