I’m back to share a little peek on what’s been going on lately. I’m just going to dive right in with photos and captions, for time’s sake.
Full disclosure: This recap consists mostly of food, outfits, and the adorable Harper-pup. Enjoy!

This weekend was a great one, particularly in the food department! The weather in Denver has hit record highs for this time of year… highs have been in the 60s, which means both of my runs this weekend were in shorts and a tank top. What? It’s December!
We also tried to get Harper in the Christmas spirit. Cute photos ahead!
This weekend had that Je ne sais quoi magical feeling about it. By the time Sunday evening rolled around, I felt refreshed, refilled, and ready for anything.
Yep, that’s me with Adam Pascal!
Last week was a great one, and to be frank, I just wasn’t in the mood to update the blog at all. Sometimes life is too busy or I’m enjoying my downtime too much. But what does that mean now? Tons of pictures, that’s what. Here’s a photo recap of last week, since it was such a fabulous one.
This was such a great weekend! We had an epic Halloween-themed date night, hung out with all the people, and hit the trails not once but twice! We also managed to do some cleaning, talk finances, and meal prep for the week. Best team ever.
Yesterday was just one of those off days. A restaurant situation threw off my whole eating schedule, as well as my mental focus… at least for a little while. But I’m proud of myself for unhooking that mood and recalibrating. This recap will be short, as I’m super busy!
Top o’ the morning to ya!
I love breakfast. I’ve said this a million times, and I’ll say it again. I am just completely smitten with a veggie scramble + bread and butter. It’s my favorite thing on the planet.
Here’s the first of this week’s experimental blogging. I’m going to commit to one post a day where I combine all the things: food, outfits, workouts, lifestyle-y things, and of course, Harper pupdates!
Blogging during the workweek is way too hard at the moment, with a tiny pup, a full workday, and nightly rehearsals. Instead, I’ve just been updating one post throughout the week…
The result is that today’s post is long and packed with exciting things!
Just one of our decadent breakfasts this week
…and I want to talk about it.
After three or four days of consuming whatever the heck we fancied in Crested Butte—including an assortment of things we don’t usually eat, like ice cream and a bucket of fried chicken—it’s been nice to return to our whole foods-centric lifestyle.
One of my favorite things (there are many) about Nick is his passion for making delicious meals from whole, organic, and nutritious ingredients. He’s really made a believer out of me.
