Yesterday I received my 10th Stitch Fix in the mail. It’s been about a year and a half since I first tried the styling service, and I am still happy with it. I always keep something!
Check out these cute pieces from my stylist, Leah, who’s been with me the whole time.
Brooks Crop Cargo Skinny Pant by Pistola, $88
These cargo skinny pants felt very similar to the cut of the distressed skinny jeans I got for last fall’s Fix. They’re snug as a bug… and felt a little too tight for comfort, since they’re so low-waisted. And I have a pair of skinnies in this hue already.
I also felt like they weren’t quite flattering. I don’t really need much attention to my thighs, and the cargo pockets do just that.
Zoe Essential Ankle Zip Skinny Pant by 41 Hawthorn, $88
These pants were really comfortable and stretchy, and are made for a dressier occasion, so at first I was excited about them… but then I noticed how oddly high the waist was and how the zippers at the bottom don’t easily get along with my booties (which we know I wear almost every day in the fall and winter). Boo! They were so close.
Alijah Lace Up Back Detail Pullover by Madison Lily, $42
You can see the front of this pullover in the Item #2 photo. It’s simple and nice, but I am just not a fan of the detailed back or where it falls on my hips. I like my sweaters a little longer.
Maxson Brushed Knit Dress by Nine Britton, $50
When I posted an Instagram story of me in this dress, I got more than a few messages about how pretty it was! It’s definitely my style, through and through. But it was eerily similar to the dress (below) that I got for a wedding weekend in Philly… and I just couldn’t justify it.
I do love me some off-the-shoulder dresses and tops. Oh well!
So what did I keep?
I saved the best for last!
I had a spectator for this little fashion show. Hi, Harps!
Fine, you can have a glamour shot, too, pretty girl. 🙂
Chapleen Cargo Jacket by Tinsel, $88
Last but certainly not least, this dark purple jacket fits like a glove, has comfy pockets, and dons a hood for light rain and snow. I’ve really been needing a jacket like this. I have one in army green, but it’s 10,000 times too big, as I bought it to be big even when I was 30 pounds heavier... so, this jacket, ladies and gentlemen, takes home the prize!
(Harper’s photobombing legs are hilarious in this picture.)
I am even more excited about this keep because I have just enough Stitch Fix referral credit to get it for … ZERO DOLLARS. With a wedding and a house to save for, this steal gets me giddy. Yay!
Have you tried Stitch Fix yet?
