Here’s another installment of outfits… Happy Friday!
Tuesday, August 15, 2017
I forgot to take a photo on Monday, probably because I was still tired from the weekend in Philly. Whoops! Here’s Tuesday’s breakdown:
- top, Kohl’s (Lauren Conrad)
- jeans, Gap
- necklace, Forever 21
- sandals, Target

Wednesday was super casual (I wore yoga pants!) because the office was doing its annual Vision Day, when we hang out all day and talk about the year ahead.
- top, Target
- yoga pants, Aerie (via the dumpster!)
- Target sandals again
Here’s a view of the leggings’ sides. Love them!

I felt like dressing up because it was my work wife Michelle’s birthday! We went out for a birthday lunch at the new Poke City on Colorado Blvd. I had a delicious tuna poke bowl, and now I have to fight temptation to eat there every day.
- top, H&M
- skirt, Stitch Fix
- booties, Target

Not in love with this outfit, but we REALLY need to do laundry and I was getting desperate for semi-casual wear. Not the most flattering look, either. Oh well.
- top, Kohl’s
- jeans, Gap
Running Update
The month of July’s mileage? 15 and some change. That’s less than a typical week’s mileage for me. Hello Dolly’s schedule + the puppy made for some weeks of less-than-stellar running.
This week was my first week back in the swing of things! I ran the 4.5-mile loop Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday! It’s been kind of a shock to my system, going from 0 to ~15 miles in one week, but it hurts so good. I know it’ll take a couple more weeks for it to feel natural again. My pace has been slow (around an 11-minute mile lately), but Nick is reminding me to only focus on “time on feet.”
And he’s right. I do love to log miles, and that usually snowballs into a momentum of increasing mileage and, in turn, faster paces as my endurance improves. I just want to keep feeling fit! It’s addicting. I’ve also been staying on top of my upper body resistance training, and I feel like I’m starting to grow little baby guns. Lol!
Tonight
Anyway, back to outfits: I am going to another work even tonight, and I’m thinking I’ll wear my new dress from Nordstrom Rack, since it sounds pretty formal. We’ll see.
I love those tops from Lauren’s Conrad line at Kohl’s!! I really have to control myself from buying one every time I shop there.
Have a great weekend 🙂
