Mid-Week Shenanigans

All the jewel tones!

A Work Event at Cooper Lounge

Yesterday was a busy one! Colorado Homes & Lifestyles hosted its 2017 Home of the Year celebration at The Cooper Lounge at Union Station. After a few days of puppy-disrupted sleep, a long workday, and a schmoozing over cocktails, I was a tad exhausted.

Nick sent me this pupdate photo while I was at work. They spent some time just lounging outside, soaking in all the sights, sounds, and scents new to Harper. 🙂 It’s hard to be away from her during the day!

Recognize my Stitch Fix dress?

I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I absolutely adore my giant group of work wives (plus Dan on the right, owner of our media company, Wiesner Media)!

Working alongside such ambitious women is incredibly motivating… and we get to do fun things like this every once in a while!

The Cooper Lounge floats above Terminal Bar in Denver’s Union Station and is super chic. I had a couple Crystal Mules (vodka, lime juice, ginger beer) and numerous plates of crackers and cheese due to a lack of proper snacking. Whoops!

When I got home, the pup and I shared some sleepiness in common. I had wanted to run after the event since I didn’t need to be rehearsal that night, but drinks and exhaustion caught  up to me. I was passed out on the couch by 8 pm. Old lady status confirmed, again.

Speaking of sleepiness: Harper slept through the entire night Tuesday! Nick and I never had to get up once until the alarm went off at 5:15 am. And then when I got to work today, Nothing Bundt Cakes delivered a box of cupcakes to me! I won free cake after putting my  business card in a giveaway bowl months ago (perhaps when I picked up Nick’s birthday cake?). Not bad for hump day!
