Hi, friends! It’s a busy week at work, as I hunker down on content and try to get ahead for Memorial Day weekend. We’re going back to Crested Butte, which is the light at the end of the tunnel!

Here’s a very quick recap of our weekend.

Above are my Garmin’s stats from a late morning run on Saturday. Friday night, Nick and I went to celebrate a friend’s law school graduation. We had a delicious dinner with them and their parents, and we might have eaten and drunk a little too much. This run was a doozy.

After our run we went to a barbecue for a friend, where I ate my weight in hotdogs and chips and dip. Whoopsies. After that, we went to a pet store to get some fun items in anticipation of our future pup! We also went to World Market to get a new pour-over thing for coffee (I know words). We scored these DELICIOUS AF cookies, all of which I ate in like, 10 hours.

I fell asleep at 8 that night. Life goals.

Sunday morning, I awoke to the man baking another morning focaccia! We noshed on this + scrambled eggs and sautéed veggies. Then he went to run 27 miles while I did another loop around Wash Park.

After my run, I did groceries, cleaned the house, and did 3 loads of laundry. We made another homemade pizza for dinner, but I was so hungry that I didn’t stop to snap a photo. I didn’t snap many photos this weekend. Whatever, that’s okay.

Lynne, you are the sweetest. Thank you so much for the thoughtful pup-related gift! If we  end up exchanging it (I think it might be too small, but we’ll see!), I will definitely update you on what we got. 🙂 We cannot wait to get our little fluff-ball!
