Happy St. Patty’s Day!
Top o’ the morning to ya! And happy Friday, friends! Here is your handy dandy Outfits of the Week installment… with a little extra green in honor of the Irish.
But First…
We interrupt this broadcast to bring you today’s breakfast, which looks like almost every other day’s breakfast, but since it’s good ol’ Patrick’s day, I’m sharing the morning greens we love to partake in. That’s sautéed spinach and mushrooms, a fried egg topped with cilantro, and a toasted and buttered piece of Nick’s homemade bread. Yum! Thank the Saints it’s Friday!
Okay, now back to this week’s Outfits.
MONDAY, March 13, 2017
Monday morning was a sleepy one, but you can’t quite tell here! I opted for easy and simple… (don’t I always?)
- black skinny jeans, Gap
- black tank, Target
- gold cardigan, Forever 21
- black Franco Sarto flats, DSW
TUESDAY, March 14, 2017
The face of a girl who’s itching to down a burrito! (The last time I wore this exact ensemble, I was visiting the Colfax Half Marathon Expo, just FYI.)
- blue skinny jeans, Gap
- white flats, Target
- gray and white polka dot tank, Target
- orange cardigan, Goodwill
- gold bracelets, Forever 21
WEDNESDAY, March 15, 2017
I was feeling extra lazy, so I opted for blue jeans, blue boots, and a blue top. Originality at its finest! Also: I decided to wear the same jeans two days in a row. I need a new pair… or a couple new pairs.
- the most faded blue jeans ever, Gap
- blue blouse, Francesca’s
- blue boots, Target on major sale
- beige and white striped sweater, Forever 21
THURSDAY, March 16, 2017
Forgive the weird lighting. I turned the overhead light off and drew the blinds for natural lighting, but somehow it went overboard.
- burnt-orange dress, Forever 21
- denim jacket, Aeropostale
- wedges, hand-me-downs
THURSDAY EVENING
I was so excited to share my new Under Armour running tights (with cute mesh calves, which you can’t see very well here) that I overlooked the weird gesture I’m making in this picture. Nonetheless, my run on Thursday evening was that much better with new (and light) running tights for the warmer months. And since I’m running a little more often during the week these days, the compression felt nice on my sore legs. Yay!
FRIDAY, March 17, 2017
I own two green items of clothing: this green dress (2 sizes too big these days) and a green house from Target, which kind of looks like a maternity shirt. Slim pickings.
- green dress, Ann Taylor Loft outlet
- oatmeal sweater, Target
- sandals, Ross
There you have it! My plans for the weekend are to finally do 800 loads of laundry and to get a long training run in. Other than that, I hope to read a lot and perhaps soak up some rays by the pool.
Yes, breakfast looks good! We are having a kid friendly St. Patrick’s day party tonight and *hopefully* resting most of the weekend.
