A Post Dedicated to Flowers…

…and My Outfit of the Day

My week has been full of flowers! I got three bouquets on opening night (from my parents, my brother and sister-in-law, and Nick) for Love/Perfect, which you can see above. These are my people, and so, so supportive of me doing what I love.

Then it was Valentine’s Day and my big work event “Share the Love.” Bring on the bouquets!

I love this picture.

So beautiful! Fresh flowers around the house really add something special.

The man has classed me up, turning me into someone who loves bedside flowers, too.

Here is the absolutely GORGEOUS bouquet from The Ruffly Rose in Denver that he surprised me with for my Valentine’s Day (night) performance of Love/Perfect. That place always crafts the more stunning arrangements.

Last night was Colorado Homes & Lifestyles big, new signature event, “Share the Love” at Larimer Social. Bloom by Anuschka did the centerpieces. Just, wow.

(Side note: This is my beautiful friend and workwife Michelle Johnson. You might recognize her from various posts… we ran the Colfax Half Marathon together last year! She wrote this story on Anuschka, the woman behind our event’s gorgeous flowers. Give it a read!)

And here is today’s outfit, surprisingly put together after a late party night. (Speaking of, I hope to get my hands on party pics soon.)

  • Black skinny jeans, Gap (I need to replace these soon…)
  • Black booties, DSW (and these…)
  • Striped top, Target
  • Denim jacket, Aeropostale

It’s going to get quite warm for a February Colorado day today. Perfect weather for a run!

Thank you for sharing. In Canada where I live we are buried in snow and fresh flowers are such a well received hit. You just can’t go wrong. So wonderful you have such a wonderful family.

From your Colfax Half Marathon link, yeah once you pick up that bib race # there is no going back. I always get that “butterfly in the tummy feeling” after that! 🙂
