+ SOME CHRISTMASSY FUN
This past weekend I ran my longest distance ever: 13.5 miles! It was a difficult run, but totally worth it. We also got into the Christmas spirit!

Over the week of Thanksgiving, the man and I traveled to Pennsylvania to visit his parents, explore his hometown of Swarthmore just outside of Philly, and celebrate with not one but two Turkey Day Feasts!
This past weekend the man and I had 12 miles on our schedule. After a carby dinner the night before, a hearty breakfast and packing fuel for the trek, we headed out to Waterton Canyon for a hilly long run.
(I’m trying to get caught up with all the excitement this week, so expect lots of blog posts!)
This past Saturday night I flew back to Denver, where Nick and I promptly indulged in Cosmo’s pizza (he loves me!) before passing out at 9pm. Lame, you might say… except for the fuel and energy it lent to our long run Sunday morning!
Day 3 of my visit to Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, started off like the rest: early morning on the couch with Mama, sipping hot coffee. Then my best friend Emily invited me to see President Obama speak at UNF, and I said yes, duh.
Happy post-Cubbie World Series win day! I’m sipping hot coffee in the early morning with my momma, as is custom when visiting her in Ponte Vedra. It was her birthday yesterday, and I flew in the afternoon before to spend the week with her!
