HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend, full of spookiness and treats! Mine was delicious.

My 7th Stitch Fix arrived last night, and I’ve got to hand it to my stylist Leah. Girl, you just get me. I love every single item.
See what I got, how it all fits, and which items I’m keeping.
This Sunday, the man and I got up early to run an 8-mile long run along the Highline Canal in Englewood, through the beautiful Cherry Hills Village community.
After the strong run in chilly weather, we drove home and partook in a glorious brunch, created of course by Nick, the culinary genius. Check it out!
When it comes to Stitch Fix, I learned early on that it might not be totally worth it to use the service unless you downright hate shopping or have no time to invest in your wardrobe. The clothing can be pricey and not any better quality than your average store.
BUT it’s definitely worth it if your items are FREE. Let me show you how I do it.
SPOILER ALERT: All the carbs. Carbs are my friend, seriously. I will never understand those who believe gluten-free is the way to health, unless they have an actual gluten allergy. That’s just my opinion, based on my incredibly biased penchant for all things starchy (I am Italian, after all), and also the way carbs make me feel (energetic and happy).
I’m especially prone to carb-gorging on run days. Here’s a little cross-section of my Monday Runday (yesterday).
(…except for the heat.)
This weekend left me with that rare sensation of true relaxation. Life has posed lots of ups and downs lately, so to be able to let go of the stress for a short while is quite the achievement, I’d say.
Here’s a little photo recap (of course, it’s mostly food).
For my stylist Leah, I decided to create a new Pinterest board focused on Fall fashion: sweaters, scarves, boots, etc.
She chose some great concepts, but they didn’t quite hit the mark, unfortunately.
See what I did keep, though!
