+ THE COLOR RUN!

Happy Thursday, folks! My new Asics came in the mail this week, and I absolutely love them. I trained for and ran my first half marathon in Asics, and a few more, and then veered off course with Brooks and Mizunos—learning all too well that Asics are (for now) the only running shoes for me.

What will I do with my old, beat-up Asics, you ask? I’ll add a little life to them on August 27th at The Color Run Tropicolor Denver!

Aren’t they adorable? It’s like walking on clouds. So much support for my high arches!

Ready to go!

MY FIRST 5K

I’ll definitely be documenting this fun, colorful 5k because I’ve never run a 5k before, and I’ve never run anything like this, so stay tuned! I won’t go for a time goal, since the aim of the race is to just be silly and get messy.

HAVE YOU RUN A COLOR RUN BEFORE?

These look great! I’m considering Asics now that my Nike’s are slowly running out (no pun intended). I’ve never done a color run but I want to do it so bad!

Love the colors of your new shoes!! I’m a Brooks girl through and through. I recently switch to Saucony and was so disappointed in how they handled and held up that I immediately switched back to what I know and love.

I’ve never done a color run, but I did do a mud run, which was brutal!! You don’t think ahead on how scraped up your body will get crawling in mud which is infested with rocks and sand! But it was still a fun experience!
