What I got in my 5th Stitch Fix shipment! | THE REAL LIFE Blog | Stitch Fix, fashion, style, clothing, clothes, dress, lace, kimono, shopping, blouse, work attire, outfits

CHOICES, CHOICES

Happy Thursday, friends!

Like you know, I’m busy this week, so we’ll get down to it. I’ll post pics, share the prices, and give a brief run-down of how each piece felt.

Tell me which ones you think I should keep!

Disclaimer: Please just ignore the moving boxes strewn about the background.

ITEM 1:

Yuli Lace Cap Sleeve Blouse, $68

I loved the thickness of this blouse, and the fact that it zipped up the back. It’s funny because I didn’t think I’d like it when I saw the material in the box!

ITEM 2:

Bellini Kimono, $38

I wanted to like this, but it felt… just not “me.” (Kind of like The Great Romper Debate.) The consensus between the man and me was that if felt like “Old lady museum curator.” So, yeah.

(I had to.)

ITEM 3:

Jarred Lace Detail Cap-Sleeve Blouse,  $68

In contrast with the Kimono, this top felt very much like “me.” I love lacey black tops! Stitch Fix stylist Leah, you rock!

ITEM 4:

Romee Scallop Trim Chambray Top, $54

I loved the concept of this top, but it was far too big/wide. It would be an adorable maternity shirt, though. (Something I won’t be wearing for a long time, so don’t even go there!)

ITEM 5:

Medina Stretch Lace Dress, $68

This dress, though. The color is insanely gorgeous. It fits like a glove. It feels so light and airy. I love it.

    I absolutely do not understand kimono’s either…

My favorite’s were Yuli’s Lace Cap Sleeve Blouse and Medina’s Stretch Lace Dress.

Apparently, lace is so you right now 😉

The only thing I really don’t like is the kimono.

Personally, I can never keep white clean. And while I’m not a huge fan of black — especially with lots of animals who shed all over the place — I do like that top on you. It seems a bit pricey, but then I’m used to Marshalls mostly. 🙂

Love the dress, and I’m a big fan of purple!
