BUT FIRST: A BAD DAY
Yesterday was one of those days where it feels like the world is caving in on you—where anxiety and worry take over and keep you from remembering that the Universe always has your back.
To turn things around, enter: decompressing, an easy 7-mile run, and the best effing pizza you’ve ever tasted.

(Somehow there were leftovers)
I went home from work early, lay in my bed for an hour to decompress, and then invited the fabulous man to go on a run with me (he had just finished one, but happily joined along).
After 7 miles (2 laps around City Park), we decided tonight was the night to introduce me to the infamous Cosmo’s Pizza. We ordered one medium green pepper, mushroom, and onion pie. NOM!
HOLY HELL
This stuff is GOOD. The hand-tossed dough is chewy and just the right thickness. There’s not too much cheese. Their veggies are fresh. And their signature Cosmo’s Spicy Ranch is out of this world.
I seriously couldn’t believe how good it was. I learned that the Denver location is a spin-off the original up in Boulder, and it’s been on Grant St. since September, 2010.
It’s easily the best pizza in Denver… and the best I’ve ever tasted. And I’ve even a lot of pizza.
Great way to turn the day around! A lie down usually does wonders for me, and that pizza… Wow, that looks good!
